The student contacts companies:

1. Search for a company, organization, or institution where an internship project can be carried out.

You can consult the catalog of companies that have a collaboration agreement with UTR provided by the Internship Coordination at the bottom of this same page.

2. Research the place, area, or department where you would like to carry out the project.

3. Request an interview with the person responsible or in charge.

If a presentation letter is required, request it from the Academic Head of your educational program.

4. Before the meeting or interview with the company representative, it is important to:

a) Review the guide for preparing the project proposal in order to identify the information needed for the project.

b) Conduct exploratory research about the company/institution.

c) Prepare a diagnostic tool according to the area or discipline (it may be a questionnaire, a question guide, or an observation guide).

The company's agreement with UTR is MANDATORY.

You may review the list of companies with an agreement by clicking on the catalog shared by the Internship Coordination.

If the company does not yet have a collaboration agreement with UTR, please share at estadias@utr.edu.mx the email address of the person at the company to whom the required documentation will be sent.

VERY IMPORTANT!

Once the Internship Coordination sends the company the list of documents needed to prepare the agreement, both the student and the Coordination will be responsible for following up on the process.

It is important that you do not simply send the email to the company and assume your part is finished. You must make sure the agreement has been signed; otherwise, you will not be able to start your internship on time and properly.

We recommend maintaining constant communication with the company and with the Internship Coordination to avoid setbacks.
